The Maronite Sisters Village is not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the provision of high quality and continuous improvement across 2 residential care services across 2 locations in Inner west area.
An opportunity will soon be available for a Secretary at our Dulwich Hill Village reporting to the Director of Nursing. The position is Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm and is responsible for delivering effective reception and general office administration functions to support staff, residents, and families.
Expected Start Date: 16th December 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general reception duties
- Replace rostering staff and assist with rostering
- Providing general clerical, secretarial support to manager, HR, staff and residents to ensure key operational areas are working effectively
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing mail
- Preparing new residents files, maintain record management and archive files
- Preparation of documents and spreadsheets as required
- Maintain Lee care software and undertake audits as requested by management
- Providing a high level of customer service to all staff, residents, and families
- Conduct monthly Quality Improvement audits
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
- Dealing with external stakeholders and contractors

- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft office in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong computer skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience as receptionist, administration, or Secretary
- Previous experience in aged care industry
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
