An opportunity waits for a Registered Nurse โ AM Shift Monday to Friday as well as a Registered Nurse -Night Shift reporting to Director of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver Medication Administration, Monitor wound care & other residents care needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and other staff of the organisation
- Create and evaluate care plans to improve residentโs care in consultation with residents and their representatives
- To supervise staff in the performance of their duties
- Maintain and update Resident Record & admit or discharge residents
- To assist with daily activities of the Residents
- To maintain up to date knowledge on AN-ACC, accreditation process, new practices, and procedures
- Be able to liaise with third party providers including medical officers, dentists, podiatrist and etc.
- To record all outcomes in the appropriate forms for resident documentation
- To prove leadership ability with commitment to the ongoing development of staff and self
- Have an excellent communication skill and possess high level of documentation.
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- A Current AHPRA Registration
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess computer skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
